SMS Consent
How consent is collected and how Home Sushi uses text messages for active pickup orders.
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Our messaging program
Home Sushi sends transactional text messages related only to an order placed by a customer. These messages may include an order confirmation, estimated pickup time, preparation updates, pickup readiness, and a secure link for tracking the active order.
Home Sushi does not use this program for recurring marketing, advertising, or unrelated promotional messages.
How customers opt in
Customers can optionally opt in through the Home Sushi online checkout form. The SMS toggle is off by default, and an order can be placed without enabling it. The customer sees the following disclosure next to the toggle:
Text me order updates (optional). Enable to agree to receive automated SMS from Home Sushi. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Terms · Privacy.
By turning on the toggle, the customer chooses to receive transactional messages for the order associated with the phone number provided. These may include an order confirmation, preparation updates, pickup readiness, and a secure tracking link. Consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on the status of the customer's active order. Carrier message and data rates may apply. Home Sushi does not charge a separate fee for these messages.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to opt out of future messages from the messaging number. Reply HELP for assistance. Customers may also call Home Sushi at +1 (980) 427-5472.
Opting out of SMS does not cancel an order. Customers may call the restaurant for order information after opting out.
Privacy
